The Forsyth Physicians Center Medical Office Building in Cumming, GA is anchored by Resurgens Orthopaedics taking up the entirety of the third floor, as well as their 2,000 SF MRI suite on the first floor. Aside from the intensive technical challenge of installing their MRI on the first floor, the main challenge in this project was maintaining consistency and uniformity across all 30,000 SF on their space and. The core of their practice operates around the 7 “pods”, each featuring a nurse station hub surrounded by exam rooms. Their program also necessitated incorporating 3 X-ray rooms and a massive open physical therapy floor space for their rehab patients. Their suite also includes a warm, welcoming, family centered waiting area with custom millwork ceiling highlights and a spacious front-of-house receptionist work area. Rounding out their facilities are a stress-free breakroom for staff, conference room, and cubicle bullpen area for the billing and administration team in the southwest corner. We were pleased to build every foot of their space up to the expected premium standards that have been established among their over 20 locations around the metro Atlanta area, while keeping them on budget and on schedule.
